Snow, Love

"I love it when it snows," said she.

"I love it when you talk of snow," said he.

And they played, hit each other with snowballs, giggled, hugged, kissed.

"Will you return?" she asked.

He stayed silent. She closed her eyes. He was gone.

Nearby, the snowman stood still, smiling.
